LED Visualisation 'Achieves Highest Levels Of Customer Engagement'

Posted by Fay Bromilow on

External LED displays are becoming more widespread as their efficacy as a marketing tool becomes clearer to more organisations, but there are lots of questions surrounding how best to present content on these screens and how consumers engage with LEDs.

Joe Lloyd, vice-president of global marketing at LED visualisation solutions developer NanoLumens said that effective LED displays are designed to be tools for conveying information.

"Content is the basis for the creation of a complete LED visualisation solution that achieves the highest levels of customer engagement," he said.

"Because an LED display is built for the specific purpose of presenting content, there are naturally countless questions to be asked and answered regarding the presentation, development and production of that content."

The industry insider believes a new development, the NanoLumens white paper eBook, could unlock some of the questions as to how consumers engage with LED displays, creating a 'baseline of understanding of the role that content plays in the life of an LED display'.

"Content is the basis for the creation of a complete LED visualization solution that achieves the highest levels of customer engagement," said Lloyd. "...There are naturally countless questions to be asked and answered regarding the presentation, development and production of that content."

And LED display efficacy is being explored on an interactive level with smart displays, which means screens will be able to do more than just convey information, allowing consumers to touch and select imagery and explore products using added functionalities, with Apple and Samsung exploring the technology for the mass market.
