Millwall FC has announced that it would be utilising LED advertising boards around their home stadium, The Den, during the next season in the English Football League Championship. It is expected to come into effect from July 28th, as The Lions take on VfL Bochum for Jimmy Abdou’s testimonial match.
Stuart Lock, head of commercial and retail at Millwall, commented: “I’m delighted to announce that LED perimeter advertising boards will be introduced at The Den for the upcoming season. The boards will be visible from three sides of the stadium and will provide a dynamic advertising platform for local, regional and national businesses, allowing them to engage with our supporters.”
Football is a source of advertisement that most business owners would not pass up the opportunity to use to promote their services. In fact, consider how well England did at the World Cup this summer and all the ads that people would have watched on TV or seen around different stadiums.
